Revolutionary Petunias & Other Poems. First collected edition, inscribed by the author on the half-title to Yvette Le Roy, the founder of Liberty House in Harlem: "For Yvette, with my happiness intact to see you again. Alice". Le Roy's ownership inscription is on the front pastedown, dated 1973. Some poems in the volume were previously published in serials. Alongside promoting books by Black authors, Le Roy's store sold handcrafts produced by the Mississippi Poor People's Corporation and hosted poetry readings by authors such as Gwendolyn Brooks and Nikki Giovanni.
