UMBERTO ECO - HIS ORIGINAL COLLEGE ARTICLE CRITIQUE ON IAN FLEMING'S WRITING "James Bond: une combinatoire narrative" (subsequently published in "THE BOND AFFAIR" - 3rd picture is the copyright page from that book, published in an Italian college journal Communications #8 1966 (this likely would have been Umberto Eco's first published work - years before he became a best selling writer). NOTE - THE BOND AFFAIR WAS ONE OF SEVERAL LITERARY CRITICISM BOOKS THAT WERE PUBLISHED IN THE 1960S REGARDING IAN FLEMING AND HIS FICTIONAL HERO JAMES BOND (INCLUDES BOOKS LIKE "THE JAMES BOND DOSSIER" "THE DEVIL WITH JAMES BOND" "DOUBLE 007 A REPORT", etc.). Book has no creased page corners, small crease to bottom right corner on cover, no wear or tearing to squared spine, hint of dust soiling to white cover, no former ownership markings or used bookstore stamps/stickers inside.
