Cloth hardcover with gilt on spine, no dust jacket (as issued), enclosed in a Moomin-decorated slipcase. 478 pages with illustrations on nearly all of them. Includes the 16 inch x 23 inch color poster. This book contains the complete Tove Jansson series of beloved comics about Moominvalley, originally published in the Evening News, London from 1953-1960. It also includes 28 pages of never-before-seen character studies and sketches for the newspaper strip, as well as tributes to Jansson's cartooning legacy from cartoonists Tom Hart, Dylan Horrocks, Megan Kelso and James Kolchalka.
