Vol I is 1800-1915 History of Jefferson County and Vol. II is Jefferson County Pennsylvania Illustrated Genealogy and Biography. Published in 1917 author William James McKnight M.D., published by J.H. Beers & Company, Chicago. Volume I has no markings on the cover. It does appear to be signed by the author. The cover itself shows wear, Volume II clearly reads Jeferson County Pennsylvania Vol II Genealogy-Biography Illustrated. This cover also shows wear. The good news: THe inside pages are excellent. They are gold bordered and as you can see from the photos are good. Send any questions to ensure satisfaction.
