Hi! You're looking at an excellent condition book which is a classic work of political theory and philosophy written by author L. T. HOBHOUSE--the book is an unstated FIRST EDITION and Fifth Impression published in Great Britain by George Allen & Unwin Ltd. and is a HARDCOVER with the ORIGINAL DUSTJACKET. This book is in excellent condition and is a former library copy with NO library markings on the cover or dustjacket and ONLY a single library stamp on the title page and lower page edge; the book itself has a few slight faded spots on the cloth covers, tiny bits of sticker shadows on the centers of the edges of the covers where the book was formerly attached, very small bits of tape residue on the upper and lower spine tips of the back board, slight tanning and dustwear on the boards and first / last pages of the book and just very light shelfwear and very light evidence of gentle browsing but no other significant flaws; the dustjacket has a horizontal crease on the centers of the covers and spine edge, a tiny blank red sticker on the lower spine edge, light dings and a couple of small tears on the spine tips and opening tips, a few tiny tears and abrasions on the edges, very light fading on the edges of the covers, a couple of tiny tears on the upper edge of the front inner flap, a clipped lower corner of the front inner flap and just light shelfwear otherwise but no other significant imperfections!
