This is an original HARDCOVER copy of Beverly Jenkins first Black historical romance, printed in 1994! Although the standard run of this title from Avon books was paperback, a limited number of hard copies were printed as well. This copy is in good used condition though the dust jacket has some signs of wear particularly on the spine and lower right corner - see pictures. The book itself is in very good condition other than a large blemish in the inside cover on the upper left hand side, see picture. No torn pages or stains. Page count includes 2 page author's note at the end. @romancehistorian talks about both the paperback and hardback editions in his 10/31/22 YouTube post Book will be shipped free with signature acceptance required.
