Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Original Screenplay, original brass foiling and embossing die for creating the gilt design on the original book's dust-jacket, produced by Tomlinson Ltd, bearing an engraved serial number. (Tomlinson Limited is the UK's largest independent engraving house. Established in 1927, they are based in Leicester and specialize in manufacturing high-end brass and magnesium foil stamping, embossing, and debossing dies for the print, luxury packaging, and stationery industries) Embossing plates for book covers are always reversed (as you look at it) so when the cover is rolled over and pressed then it reads the correct way. This extremely rare original piece of Harry Potter history is available for you to own, this was used in the original production of the book back in 2016. As you can appreciate these are very hard to acquire and only a few were ever produced and used in the production of the books dust jacket. The rear of the solid brass piece has the markings from when it would have been fitted to the production line rolling cover after cover past it to be embossed/stamped down. What a sight that would have been! This piece weighs approximately 2.2kg Happy to ship worldwide.
