A focused six-issue collection of complete The New Yorker magazines featuring cover art by Bob Staake. The lot spans September 4, 2006 through November 21, 2016. All six magazines have different issue dates; there are no duplicate copies. Included issue dates, in chronological order: - September 4, 2006 - October 23, 2006 - July 2, 2007 - July 5, 2010 - July 9 & 16, 2012 - November 21, 2016 This visually cohesive group brings together Staake's bold graphic treatment of city life, politics, sports, media, and American culture. The run includes the November 21, 2016 red-brick “Wall” cover. A complete group view and representative front, spine, interior, back, and condition photographs document the actual lot. Condition varies across the collection all are good to really good. Expect normal age, cover, edge, spine, and handling wear. Several copies are photographed in protective sleeves, so some glare may be visible. Mailing labels remain visible as found.
