The New Yorker Istvan Banyai 4 Magazine Cover Artist Lot 1998-2005

$245 · Offered by eBay

A four-issue collection of complete The New Yorker magazines featuring cover art by Istvan Banyai. The collection spans April 20, 1998 through April 25, 2005. All four magazines have different issue dates; there are no duplicate copies. Included issue dates, in chronological order: - April 20, 1998 — “Nothing Is Certain but...” - March 1, 2004 — “Wardrobe Malfunction” - September 13, 2004 — “Déjà Vu” - April 25, 2005 — “Underwater” The first photograph documents all four actual magazines. The second photograph provides a closer front-cover condition view of the April 20, 1998 copy. Condition varies across the lot. Expect cover rubbing, creasing, edge and spine wear, surface marks, handling wear, and visible mailing labels. The April 20, 1998 copy has visible lower-edge tearing/paper loss and heavier cover wear. Review both photographs closely; the photographs are part of the condition description and show the actual collection. Some copies may also retain original subscription cards, coupons, inserts, or other period material. Any such interior material is included as found; no specific insert or coupon is promised unless it is specifically shown or separately verified. Additional issues from the broader collection are available through my other eBay listings. Serious inquiries are welcome through eBay Messages.
