A focused five-issue collection of complete The New Yorker magazines featuring cover art by L.S. Johnson, officially credited by The New Yorker as Lonni Sue Johnson. The collection spans August 16, 1982 through December 28, 1987. All five magazines have different issue dates; there are no duplicate copies. Included issue dates, in chronological order: - August 16, 1982 - December 13, 1982 - March 18, 1985 - December 16, 1985 - December 28, 1987 The first group photograph documents all five actual magazines. Nine additional photographs show front, back, spine/edge, and interior condition details from the December 16, 1985 and August 16, 1982 copies. Condition varies materially across the lot most are good to really good. The December 16, 1985 copy has pronounced spine deterioration, including splitting, chipping, paper loss, and substantial edge wear. The August 16, 1982 detail set shows additional spine, edge, surface, and handling wear. The remaining copies should be expected to show ordinary age, cover, corner, surface, and handling wear.
