Lot of 3 Vintage Christian books. Included books: Understanding the Christian Faith by Georgia Harkness: 1947, First Edition This book is in excellent shape, and I was surprised to see it was from 1947! It doesn't look that old. Only yellowed with age as old books should. The jacket to the book is in good shape with normal wear along the edges, particularly near the spine. Everyday Life in Bible Times: 1967, First Edition The book jacket is torn in many places, but it did its job to protect the book. The book itself is still in great shape and contains the original map. My father's name, address, and year are written in the front pages in ballpoint pen. Glossy illustrations are in color and still vibrant. The Holy Spirit by RA Torrey, 1927, hardcover with jacket The book jacket has minimal wear but the back jacket flap is creased. The book itself is in excellent condition. I think taking photos for this listing is the most handling this book has ever had. The first page does have some penciled initials in the upper right corner. These vintage books are rather rare and have only had one owner. Shipped via media mail so they won't arrive right away. Buyer pays shipping. I have other auctions with books, jewelry, Hallmark, and JTRS, if interested.
