How to Talk Back to Your Television Set by Nicholas Johnson Little, Brown and Company / The Atlantic Monthly Press, 1970 First Edition An especially interesting copy of Nicholas Johnson's landmark critique of American television and broadcasting, accompanied by an original Federal Communications Commission letter signed by Johnson while he was serving as an FCC Commissioner. The copyright page explicitly states FIRST EDITION. The accompanying letter is dated January 23, 1970, on official Federal Communications Commission stationery, and is addressed "Dear Joe." In the letter, Johnson writes that he wanted the recipient to have "this advance copy of my book" and notes that the publication date would be March 10. The letter is signed Nicholas Johnson in blue ink above his typed name and title, "Commissioner."
