Maule not for instruction but for entertainment from Herbert Hoover".Maule (1886-1971) was senior editor at Random House from 1939 to 1966. He was a keen fisherman, and one of his final projects was editing Hoover's Fishing for Fun, published by Random House in 1963. On Growing Up collects letters to Hoover wrote in response to enquiries from American children, giving advice and reflecting on his own childhood and career.
