Undated. Slip of paper, approximately 1.5 x 4 bearing Sebastián Lerdo de Tejada's signature. Paper has half-inch open tear and two small puncture marks. The portion of paper with the signature appears to have been clipped from a larger document, as the text is fragmented. Lerdo de Tejada was the 27th president of Mexico, serving from 1872 to 1876.
