Sept. 19, 1933. 3609 Livingston St, Washington D.C.".George Hull, author of the series Hull's Mathematics, was a Methodist minister and an active campaigner for prohibition in Pennsylvania; he had died in 1928. Anna H. Hull (died 1935) was a fellow member of the church and joined him in his campaigns.Eaton writes following the passing of the repeal of prohibition in congress, and though it still needed ratification by the states, concedes that the battle is effectively lost. He nonetheless forcefully restates the dangers of alcohol and the calamity of the decision. It follows his 1931 pamphlet, Why Are We Wet.
