Their catalogue is offered in a condensed form for the benefit of "persons confused by the large and laboured Catalogues which are generally put forth to the public from which none but those who are well conversant with the subject can choose with safety or success" (p. 1). Pullen (1809-1873) ran the company with his sons, Zedekiah (1829-1920) and Burden (1833-1913).
