First edition
The Mad King, with cover art by Frank Frazetta, was published in 1964 by Ace. A First Printing, this book has considerable shelf wear. It has been well read, but the cover graphic is still phenomenal. There are creases and minor chipping to the cover. There is foxing and age stains throughout. Binding has a slight lean to it but is holding together nicely. The Wizard of Venus, with cover art by Richard Clifton-Dey, was published in 1975 by New English Library. A Third Printing, this book is in great shape, with some shelf wear, particularly on the back cover, and a slight indentation to the bottom edge of the text block. Binding is good. There is a previous owner's nameplate sticker on the title page. Back to the Stone Age, with cover art by Frank Frazetta, was published in 1978 by Ace. A First Printing, this book has some shelf wear, with creases on the back cover and spine folds. Otherwise in great shape. Binding is good. Pellucidar, with cover art by Frank Frazetta, was published in 1978 by Ace. A First Printing, this book is in really nice condition, with light shelf wear. A previous owner's name is written on the inside cover. Binding is good. These are terrific editions, with three iconic Frazetta covers, and interior illustrations in The Mad King. These are a must for any paperback collector.
