Leg Artist: Love Life of a Model by Gene Harvey Red Circle Books No. 3 Red Circle Magazines, Inc., New York 1949 First Paperback Edition Originally published by Phoenix Press in 1942 Scarce early Red Circle vintage pulp paperback featuring classic postwar good-girl/pin-up cover art. Leg Artist tells the story of model Lee Martin and her rise to prominence, followed by scandal, manipulation and the darker side of publicity and the tabloid press. This is Red Circle Book #3, an early title from the publishing line established by Martin Goodman. Condition: G++ Vintage used condition with age-related wear. Front cover retains strong color and displays well, with rubbing and edge/corner wear. Pages show expected age toning. There is visible moisture/water staining along portions of the page edges and interior margins. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are part of the condition description. Binding appears intact and the book remains a very presentable example for its age. Inside front cover is the only page affected by the water stain. Inside pages are clear of damage. A great addition for collectors of vintage pulp fiction, early paperback originals, pin-up/GGA cover art, Red Circle/Lion Books, or mid-century publishing history.
