The Beatles. First edition, signed by Warhol twice: once over the title banner of the lettered dust jacket, and once to the lower right of the unlettered jacket. The book was issued with 2 dust jackets, one with text and the other without, the idea being that the latter could be removed and displayed as an artwork. The image is based on a photograph by Dezo Hoffmann and typical of Warhol's iconic pop art portraits, with the four Beatles reduced to bold blocks of colour.
