IAN FLEMING & JOHN BURNINGHAM (illustrator) - CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, published by Random House, copyright 1964, Stated First Printing (states "First Printing" on first line on copyright page - ONLY FOUND ON THE TRUE 1ST PRINTING and also has the 4 line "P.S." at the bottom of the dedication page - this 4-line P.S. was dropped on subsequent printings, the 2nd & 3rd printings are indistinguishable as they drop the "First Printing" reference but have no numberline - the numberline to denote printing state didn't start until the 4th printing), reference to Gibraltar Library Binding on rear cover, black & green illustrated endpapers with illustrated boards (illustration used on the trade dust jacket). NOTE - GIBRALTAR LIBRARY BINDING ("GLB") EDITION - INTENDED FOR LIBRARY USE (SO IT HAS STURDIER SEMI-GLOSSY ILLUSTRATED BOARDS AND THE GLB LOGO ON REAR BOARD WITH NO DUST JACKET - NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND THIS BOOK "CLEAN" (I.E.
