Hymns. The Yattendon Hymnal. Later trade edition of this influential collection of words and music, originally intended for the church at Yattendon in Berkshire. The 100 hymns include significant use of plainsong, and music by Tallis, and Gibbons. As translator, Bridges provided 48 texts. The work was important to Vaughan Williams in his work on the 1906 English Hymnal.
