First printing, with number line ending in 1. Exceptional collectible copy featuring a large original dinosaur drawing by renowned illustrator William Stout directly on the title page. The original blue-ink artwork is personally inscribed “To David!” and signed and dated “Wm Stout 2008.” This is considerably more substantial than a simple autograph—the original hand-drawn dinosaur extends across much of the title page, making this a unique signed and remarqued example of Stout's celebrated dinosaur work. Oversized volume is extensively illustrated throughout with Stout's distinctive prehistoric artwork and includes an introductory piece by Ray Bradbury. Condition: Very Good overall. Covers show normal age toning, light rubbing/soiling and minor edge wear consistent with a large 1981 softcover. Binding appears sound. Interior pages and illustrations remain clean and attractive.
