W. Bush, including Carter's 1977 address which presented his presidency as a "new beginning". The front free endpaper has the ink stamp, "from the library of Jimmy Carter", added ahead of the book's inclusion in the posthumous sale of Carter's library at Christie's, with proceeds benefiting the Carter Family Foundation.
