Dame Wiggins of Lee, and her Seven Wonderful Cats. A later edition of this homely children's tale, first published in 1823. Dame Wiggins and her cats were beloved by Ruskin, who later produced an expanded version with additional verses of his own. In the story, the seven cats realize the value of education, social responsibility, and goose-based transportation systems.
