The first story book relating the adventures of the "Silly old Bear" and his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood was originally published in 1926. This handsome edition commemorates the 50th anniversary of its publication, signed by the author's son.This copy includes an additional slip of paper citing the copy number. This is in the same calligraphic hand as the limitation numbering on the edition statement page.
