First edition; 8vo (23 x 15 cm); small hole to half-title, not affecting text and repaired with book tape, water marks to lower margin of pp230-233, not affecting text, occasional minor spot or mark throughout, else very good; original brown cloth, with blind decorative pattern to upper and lower boards, spine detailed in blind and lettered in gilt, signs of age to extremities, spine a little faded, a few small black marks to boards and black line to lower board, though very good condition for age; 268pp.
