Errata on recto of the final leaf. Prepared by Etienne Baluze (1630-1718), the great scholar and specialist in the fathers of the Church, this edition was interrupted by his death and completed by the Maurist Dom Prudent Maran. "Confessio Sancti Cypriani" in parallel columns of Latin and Greek. Cyprian (c. 210 -258 AD) was a bishop of Carthage and an early Christian writer of Berber descent, many of whose Latin works are extant. He is recognized as a saint in the Western and Eastern churches. Martyred in 258 during the persecution of Valerian.
