This listing is for a good used tall softcover copy of Brian Hodge's 'LIES & UGLINESS' a collection of unusually fine short fiction. Book was published in the USA by NIGHTSHADE BOOKS; "FIRST EDITION" is stated on the copyright page. Latest date I can find is 2002. Please read on and see all photos. Colors are mildly rubbed and scuffed, and, there are bumps to corners, edges and heels. Covers and spine are quite good. Inside pages are flat, clean and tight to good binding. Good smooth and straight mildly out-curved; heels and corners are bumped. Mild pencilled price of '$92.00' still haunts first leaf; I am not asking that much. No names, ink nor other marks inside, no scent nor stains. A very presentable copy. Buy it now for a bonus book: Hodge's compatriot and colleague, Neil Gaiman's similar short story collection> 'SMOKE AND MIRRORS.'I offer this simply because I read them both at about the same time and they each run in the dark fantasy vein.
