It is a single-volume softcover of 232 pages, translated by Rei Yasuno and Mayumi Takayama, ISBN 978-4-16-392087-0. This first-printing (第一刷) copy collects two novellas originally from King's "If It Bleeds" collection: "Mr. Harrigan's Phone" and "The Life of Chuck." Both have been adapted into feature films — "Mr. Harrigan's Phone" (2022, Netflix, directed by John Lee Hancock, starring Donald Sutherland and Jaeden Martell) and "The Life of Chuck" (Japanese title: "サンキュー、チャック"), which won the People's Choice Award at the Toronto International Film Festival and opened in Japan on May 1, 2026, starring Tom Hiddleston and Jacob Tremblay and directed by Mike Flanagan.
