Two-volume hardcover set of Letters of Theodore Dwight Weld, Angelina Grimké Weld, and Sarah Grimké, subtitle 1822–1844. Edited by Gilbert H. Barnes and Dwight L. Dumond. Reprint of the 1934 American Historical Association edition, reprinted in 1965 by permission of Appleton-Century-Crofts. Published by Peter Smith, Gloucester, Mass., in 1965. This set contains 1,023 pages total. Both volumes are bound in green cloth over boards. The cloth is age-soiled and faded, with bumped corners, light shelf and edge wear, and minor wear at the spine ends; the spine lettering remains readable. Text blocks are age-toned with light spotting/foxing at the edges. The interiors are clean, legible, and unmarked. No dust jackets are included. Quantity one set containing both volumes.
