The Collected Poems. First Riccardi Press edition, number 437 of 1,000 copies on handmade Riccardi Paper, here retaining the dust jacket. The first edition to be printed at a private press, it was produced by Philip Lee Warner's Riccardi Press which was well known for fine editions of Chaucer, Malory, Shakespeare, Tennyson, and Browning. Brooke's addition to this company reflects just how rapidly the deceased soldier-poet was canonized.It was issued alongside an additional 13 copies printed on vellum. The first collected edition was published in America in 1915. Three years on, an expanded edition was released in Britain.
