A richly illustrated reference on the history, cultural significance, materials, construction, wearing, and giving of Hawaiian leis, including both traditional and contemporary lei forms. Features extensive color photography and illustrations. Condition: Good vintage condition overall. Hardcover binding is secure and blue cloth boards remain attractive with light general shelf wear. Interior illustrated and text pages are generally clean and bright. There is noticeable age-related foxing/spotting and discoloration, particularly to the front and rear endpapers and the interior surfaces of the dust jacket. Some additional scattered spotting is present. Dust jacket has general shelf/edge wear and retains an old $35 price sticker on the front flap. No major tears or detached pages observed.
