1989 a+u Extra Edition Peter Cook: 1961–1989. This bilingual Korean and English softcover volume documents the work of influential British architect Peter Cook from 1961 through 1989. A founding member of the visionary Archigram group, Cook is known for his experimental architectural concepts, futuristic urban planning, and highly imaginative drawings. The book features essays, architectural photography, conceptual illustrations, renderings, sketches, plans, and project documentation covering Cook's work and visionary architectural projects, including material related to Archigram, Plug-In City, Instant City, Blow-Out Village, Walking City, and later projects. Text is presented in both Korean and English throughout much of the volume, including substantial English-language text as well as project titles, captions, and technical information. This Korean-market version features a different cover design from the more commonly encountered English/Japanese version and appears to be considerably less common, particularly outside Korea. Condition: Light surface wear, scuffing, and a few light scratches to the glossy covers from normal handling. Light edge and corner wear. Interior is clean with no writing, highlighting, stains, torn pages, or missing pages.
