1995 Richard Meier: Architect. Korean edition of the architectural monograph surveying the work of American architect Richard Meier. Includes an introductory essay by architectural historian Joseph Rykwert and extensive documentation of Meier’s residential, museum, institutional, civic, and commercial work. Featured projects include the Smith House, Douglas House, House in Old Westbury, Atheneum, High Museum of Art, Frankfurt Museum of Decorative Arts, Hartford Seminary, and numerous additional projects. Extensively illustrated with color and black-and-white photographs, drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, renderings, and models. Text is primarily in Korean, with English used throughout for many project titles, names, dates, captions, plans, and headings. Translated by Lee Yong-jae and Park Hyung-jin from the original English-language publication by Joseph Rykwert. This Korean edition appears to be considerably less common than the English-language edition and is seldom encountered for sale in the United States. Condition: Very good overall. Light surface and edge wear from normal handling. Binding is tight and square. Interior is clean with no writing, highlighting, stains, torn pages, or missing pages.
