Vintage 1966 Birds of Europe, featuring 160 color plates from the lithographs of renowned ornithological artist John Gould. Text by A. Rutgers. Published in Great Britain by Methuen & Co. Ltd., London, and printed in Holland. This beautifully illustrated hardcover book features detailed color bird illustrations throughout, including eagles, owls, ducks, swans, and many other European birds. A wonderful addition to a birdwatching, natural history, ornithology, or vintage book collection. Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition with age-related wear, toning, and light soiling to the cover. The binding and pages are intact. Please review all photos carefully for the best description of condition and contents. There is a shadow on some of the photos from my lack of photography skills. A lovely vintage nature book with beautiful John Gould artwork and colorful bird illustrations.
