Prince Godfrey: The Knight of the Star of the Nativity by Halina Górska. This 1946 Roy Publishers English edition from New York contains twelve fairy tales, translated by Roman Braun, with an introduction by Phyllis Fenner and illustrations by Irena Lorentowicz. Brown decorated cloth hardcover with black cover and spine stamping; no dust jacket included. The copy has rubbing, discoloration and scuffing to the boards, bumped and worn corners, edge wear, and fraying and wear at the head and tail of the spine. The binding and text block are sound, with no missing pages. Interior pages are cream and age-toned with light foxing or spotting and some offsetting and toning. No ownership marks or inscriptions.
