Royal Tournament for the benefit of naval, marine, army and air force charities and the encouragement of skill-at-arms. Seventy-Sixth Year, Earls Court (Exhibition Building). July 13th to 30th at 2.30 and 7.30 p.m. First edition, here in a smart presentation binding. Running from 1880 to 1999, the tournament was the world's largest military tattoo. Displays included a celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Royal Artillery, a motorcycle stunt show by the Royal Corps of Signals, and a hypothetical battle against two enemy submarines carried out by the Royal Navy.
