Ziggy Marley is a Grammy-winning Jamaican reggae musician, producer, and humanitarian, best known as the eldest son of Bob Marley. Beyond his music career, he has long focused on projects for children and families. In 2014, he published his debut children’s picture book, I Love You Too (Akashic Books / Tuff Gong Worldwide). Illustrated by Ag Jatkowska, the 48-page hardcover adapts the lyrics of his Emmy-winning song of the same name (from the Grammy-winning children’s album Family Time). The book was inspired by a real moment with his then-three-year-old daughter Judah, who told him “I love you” while they were making breakfast; he spontaneously replied “I love you too.” The story celebrates the reciprocal, unconditional bond between parents and children, connections to nature, and the enduring power of love, shown through bright, multicultural illustrations of families sharing everyday joys.
