You are bidding on a c1912 Pairpoint Corporation trade catalog comprised of over 300 (actually about 321) 14” x 10” pages of various lines of silverplated and some pewter ware Sheets would have been removed or inserted as various lines were introduced or closed out. Some sheets are marked ‘closed out’ in red pencil or blue ink stamps. Several examples are included here. Cover is worn and pages have been ‘thumbed through’ many aged, soiled and a few creased which would be expected with a heavily used catalog. The Gilded Age luxury manufacturer , famous for its high-end silver plate, brilliant cut glass, and reverse-painted "puffy" lamps, was headquartered in New Bedford, Massachusetts, but operated highly successful regional showroom branches in San Francisco, Montreal, and New York to distribute its goods to elite metropolitan markets. During its late 19th and early 20th-century heyday, the corporation established distinct regional footprints to cater to wholesale jewelry and luxury holiday trades.
