I'm selling off several books and reference guides devoted to kaiju & sofubi collecting. Back in the old days, before the internet and social media, these books were the way collectors figured out what kaiju figures existed - both new and vintage ones. They were and still are fantastic reference tools that give the names, dates of production and color variants for many kaiju and sofubi figures. All the ones I'm listing were published in Japan, are mostly if not entirely written in Japanese, and were very hard to get back in the day. Maybe even more so now because they've been out of print for decades. This is a great, large format softcover Japanese book that catalogs many sofubi figures from the 60's and 70's up through the date of publication in 2008. Toys lines included according to the table of contents include Ultra Q, Ultraman, Ultra Seven, Ultra Fight, Return of Ultraman, Ultraman A, Ultraman Taro, Ultraman Leo, and "others." What makes this book so unique is that it is organized according to character so, for example, it will show all the Alien Baltans made by vintage era by companies like Bullmark up through 2008 by modern companies like M1, B-Club, etc. So it's a fantastic resource for figuring out how many variants and colorways exist for any given figure (at least through the date of publication).
