Austrian-born American pianist (1903-1991), widely regarded as one of the greatest Beethoven interpreters of the 20th century. Fine black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment in German, dated on September 26, 1989; and also signed on verso by his son Peter Serkin in the same year, adding some extra information. Size is 8.1 x 5.5 inches, in very good condition.
