The first mentioned includes a programme for "A Celebration of the life of Hilary Mantel" held at Southwark Cathedral and the guestlist for the Booker Prize Awards Ceremony 2012. Dotti Irving is the founder of the communications agency Colman Getty which handled the Booker Prize from 1993 to 2022. During her 30 years of working on the prize, Irving got to know many of the writers involved and accumulated a library of winning books and shortlisted titles, many of which were signed by the authors. Colman Getty handled the submissions process, ensuring publishers’ books reached the judges. With around 150 titles and seven copies of each arriving annually, they devised a simple numbering system to track the books using small, numbered stickers.
