Kennington (Anne) Poems, pre-publication proof, Autograph Letter signed by the publisher A.E. Lowy of The Favil Press enclosing the present volume to Kennington dated 5th January 1962, several pp. detached, occasional pencil crossings-out, original cloth, gilt, spine slightly sunned, extremities rubbed, light toning and creasing to edges, [1962]; and 2 others, unpublished playscripts, signed by the author, including one with original ink illustrations by Richard Carey, 4to (3)*** Anne Kennington, daughter of Victorian artist Thomas Kennington and brother of war artist and sculptor Eric Kennington. The latter was a close friend of T.E. Lawrence and sculpted the statue of Lawrence in Wareham Dorset). Anne Kennington moved within the London theatrical circuits however only one of her plays was ever performed, at the Gateway Theatre in 1952, and had one book published in her lifetime, 'The Winged Princess' in 1945.
