First edition
RARE. Bishop Fisher was murdered by King Henry VIII during the English Reformation. He is recognized as a Catholic martyr. This is the only copy I have found worldwide. I find zero copies for sale and zero copies on OCLC worldwide. This is an ex-lending library book with removed endpapers as the only markings. Hardcover in Fair Condition with surface wear and soiling and the binding fragile with breaks between a few signatures through to the spine. There is no writing, no loose, torn or missing pages, but it still must be carefully handled. It is not falling apart, but would if improperly handled. Some internal soiling and a cocked spine. RARE.
