Chipping and tearing to paper at head and foot of spine, underlying text block edge visible at foot. Small area of paper loss below title on front cover. Moderate overall scuffing, soiling and staining to covers. Split to paper along seam between front paste-down and free endpaper; binding still tight. Pages mildly toned. Otherwise unmarked. Seventh annual of a day and boarding school that occupied Miradero, the eleven-acre Constance Avenue estate of Anna S. C. Blake, whose own school became UCSB. Faculty list credits Florence Sutton with tennis, and she appears again as Honorary President of the Tennis Club: a US National Championships singles finalist in 1911 and ranked second nationally in 1914, one of the Sutton sisters of Pasadena. Frances Rich sits in the Dramatic Club roster and played Marlowe in the club's "She Stoops to Conquer." H
