In 1993 a triple murder was commited by James Perry using the book as a guide. A lawsuit was filed by the victims' family against Paladin Press. An appeals court ruled that "Hit Man" was not protected by the freedom of speech/press clause of the first amendment. Resulting in Paladin Press being held liable. The case was settled out of court and the remaining copies were destroyed. This book is one of the survivors. Please refer to pics.
