Complete vintage 7-volume boxed set of The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis, published by Collier Books/Macmillan. Each volume states “First Collier Books Edition 1970.” These are later printings of that edition, not first printings. Set includes: • The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe • Prince Caspian • The Voyage of the “Dawn Treader” • The Silver Chair • The Horse and His Boy • The Magician’s Nephew • The Last Battle All seven books are present along with the original illustrated slipcase. The books are exceptionally clean for their age and appear to have seen very little use. A wonderful complete vintage set for a C.S. Lewis reader, Narnia collector, or nostalgic bookshelf display. Condition Very nice vintage condition. Interiors are exceptionally clean with pages that appear very lightly read. Some age-related toning is present, particularly on the inside/back portions of the covers and first pages, as shown. There is fading to some of the graphics and lettering along the book spines. The original illustrated slipcase shows expected vintage age, toning, light surface wear, and edge/corner wear as shown. No bad or overwhelming odors detected.
