"Gallery of Maps in the Vatican" is two volumes with hardcover binding covered in black silk satin with gold embossing, plus 40 maps in a slipcase. Published by Panini Franco Cosimo in 2010, this set features 1130 pages of illustrations and historical information about the Vatican's Gallery of Maps. This work is in Italian and English, and is dedicated to the Gallery of Geographical Maps in the Vatican. Commissioned by Pope Gregory XIII in 1580. The books and maps are in excellent condition, the box set exterior is in very good condition, with some slight minimal scuffing in a couple locations.
