Vintage The Picture Story Book of Peter Pan, a picture-story adaptation based on Sir J. M. Barrie’s famous play, illustrated throughout by Roy Best and published by Whitman Publishing Company of Racine, Wisconsin. The story follows Wendy, John, and Michael Darling as Peter Pan leads them into the adventures of Neverland, with colorful period illustrations accompanying the text. This copy retains its illustrated front and rear covers, decorative Peter Pan endpapers, and interior color illustrations. The photographs show visible age and wear, including cover toning and soiling, rubbing and edge wear, corner wear, some fraying at the spine ends, and age toning to the pages.
