Looking…Seeing: Poems and Song Lyrics by Harry Chapin, with drawings by Rob White. 1975. Softcover, square format, black and white pencil illustrations throughout. Forty poems and fourteen song lyrics, published the year after Cat’s in the Cradle reached number one. Signed and inscribed on the front free endpaper in black felt tip. The inscription reads “To Guy” followed by the signature. The full page is photographed above. Condition of the copy pictured: • Covers show age toning and light soiling, most visible along the lower edge • Diagonal crease and rubbing to the lower right corner of the front cover • Rubbing and light lifting along the front hinge • Small spot of foxing near the upper right of the inscribed endpaper, well clear of the signature Requests for more photos are welcome.
